SPECIAL EVENTS SALES MANAGER
Job Summary:
The principal responsibility of the Special Events Sales Manager is to drive sales of Off the Grid Special Events through the sales team and collaborate with the Market team to develop strong sales practices. In this role the Sales Manager will be required to create sales goals, objectives and directives for the department and individual team members.
Job Description:
- Create and articulate a consistent Off the Grid brand within Special Events.
- Create and manage a pipeline of new opportunities in alignment of individual and team goals.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Develop and maintain a source of leads by gathering industry, competitive, and social data.
- Develop and execute annual sales plans.
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in customer relationship management system.
- Prepare monthly progress reports.
- Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
- Represent company at industry meetings to promote services.
- Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
- Proactively address customer complaints and concerns.
- Attend and participate in management and supervisor meetings and any other meetings as required.
- Work with leadership team to prepare fiscal budgets; specifically for budgeting sales, gross profit, and sales expenditures
- Some nights and weekends required.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience required, with 4-6 years preferred; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must maintain the highest standard of conduct and appearance at all times in representing the company
- Communicate effectively and possess excellent interpersonal, customer service and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative and problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills and customer service skills required
- Sales, Events and Managerial Experience
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally required to lift moderate weights (25-50 pounds).
Direct Reports:
- The Sales Manager will oversee 2 Sales Coordinator employees.

MARKET MANAGER
Job Summary:
The Market Manager will supervise and manage weekly markets. Job responsibilities will include onsite market supervision, managing and maintaining market standards, equipment set up/break down, vendor relations and assistance, collection of fees, brand representation, supervision and management of hourly employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively manage 4 markets a week
- Supervise and schedule 3-4 part time market employees
- Attend weekly market department meetings
- Train new hires on Market Code of Conduct and OtG Standards
- Provide feedback, documentation and goal setting for hourly employees
- Assist with hourly employee discipline when necessary and appropriate
- Assist in the creation of new training, safety and maintenance and inventory standards
- Manage OtG vendor relationships with care and professionalism
- Review and analyze individual markets for growth, waste, success and cost saving opportunities
- May oversee intern, temporary and/or casual workers
- Assist as need with special events
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Job Qualifications:

Knowledge of or desire to learn about street food

Management and/or supervisory experience a plus

Experience in special events and/or logistic management a plus
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally required to bend, lift or climb.
- Occasionally required to lift light weights (less than 25 pounds).
