ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER

Off the Grid is looking for a full-time, experienced, accountant/bookkeeper. We are a young company and are looking for someone who is excited about the creating process.

 

Required skill set:

  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Must understand accrual accounting and GAAP
  • Daily operational accounting
    •  Accounts Receivable (entire quote to cash cycle, including collections)
    • Accounts Payable (vendor management, bill pay, wires, etc)
    • Payroll processing
    • Market to bank reconciliations (sales and deposits)
    • Expense report processing
  • Understand how to prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flows)
  • Perform bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations
  • Governmentalcompliance (city, county, state, and federal filings and taxes)
  • Excel proficiency
  • Budget vs. Actual reporting

Qualified candidates must have the following:

  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Very organized
  • Process oriented
  • 5+ years bookkeeping experience
  • 4 year College degree
  • Excellent communication skills

MARKET KEEPER

Your friendly neighborhood food truck aficionados at OFF THE GRID are looking for a part time MARKET KEEPER to add to their stellar team! If you’re fun, welcoming, responsible, attentive, resourceful, creative, proactive, (and able to lift 30 pounds at any given time!), then WE WANT YOU!

Job Description:

  • Market Setup (maintain set up standards specific to each market, assist with truck placement)
  • Market Management (oversee entrance/exit, welcome and thank guests, etc.)
  • Vender/Guest Relations (professionally address questions and needs, assist whenever needed)
  • Market Standards (proper market set up, ensure vendors follow standards)
  • Market Breakdown (proper market breakdown, load truck to standards, ensure event space is left clean)
  • Brand Representation (wear your uniform WITH PRIDE, address any market problems and opportunities with Off the Grid management, understand and practice Off the Grid’s core values and principles)
